I love the woods! But got bit by a deer tick 4 years ago. I got lymes supposedly. Had some symptoms, like a bulls eye rash, fever, body aches for a few weeks and then it passed.
I visit nature often and need a good defense. Here are five:
1) Wear long tight fitted clothing
2) Take and shake off your clothes before going back inside
3) Do a body brush. Spend 5 to 10 minutes and brush your body down. This will brush off any ticks, stimulate your skin (which is the largest organ you have) and make the skin softer. Yeah!
4) Breathe. Ticks feast on fear.
5) In joy Nature!
